I painted this piece as a suspended moment between grace and imbalance. The figure borrows the language of classical costume and portraiture, but her weightless stance breaks the rules of anatomy and gravity. What interested me was that fragile point where elegance turns slightly uncanny, and where the image feels familiar yet quietly unsettled.
