Description
I sketched this staghorn fern where it hung, on a tree branch in Cairns Botanic Gardens lakes area. Staghorns are epiphytes and live on fresh air, dust, rain and debri from the host plant.
This is a digital print of my original artwork and part of a series on plants of North Queensland, drawn from nature, not photographs. It is packed with a piece of white card in a clear, glossy resealable cello bag. Perfectly presented for a gift, even without a frame. Shipped flat.
