Pandanus thrives in dappled sunlight to direct golden sunlight. Iconic to coastal areas in the Daintree wet tropic and all along the Australia Coastline. Dank, wet lowland areas are made attractive by their waxy, longleaf as well as dancing shapes.
The Atelier acrylic paint is mixed with a gold pigment to give this painting a lovely shine. My favourite stretch of road on the way to Cape Tribulation is a windy section that is like a grand entrance into Noahs beach. Sometimes the light is golden in this part of the forest if you catch it at Dusk.
This is a lowland section in the Daintree, the parklands in this section have some of the rarest nature in the world. It’s worth stopping to check out these massive specimens and if you catch them fruiting all the better.
