Port Douglas Sugar Wharf
I created this abstract version of our historical Sugar wharf.
In the early 1920s as a little girl my mother would come by ship from Townsville to the Port Douglas Sugar Wharf and stay with her Aunt and Uncle the Harbour Master in the house on the hill. So I have a special interest in the wharf.
I chose pastel yellows and pinks for the palms and headland and pale Jade for the water .
